Go back to 1999. At the cusp of their first show on New Year’s Eve, a struggling Altoona, PA frontman’s decision to pivot his band to a brand new musical genre creates a rift among his bandmates. An award-winning Y2K comedy film considered by many to be the greatest film ever made. Those skeptical of this appraisal are advised to watch it again.
